Plants are living organisms because they can do a little thing I like to call HOMGARRs. Plants can do homeostasis (regulate their cells), have organization (structural), and metabolize (through photosynthesis). Plants grow, adapt, reproduce, and respond to stimuli like sunlight and touch.
